For
reasons beyond administrative control, the Moot Court Committee has postponed
the 4th Year (Second Round) Preliminary Stage. The reasons for this
are partly unforeseen and partly the result of late services of processes.
The
new date for the Competition is Saturday, 7th June i.e. Tomorrow,
from 9:30am to 2pm. Respondents who are unable to serve their respondents brief
today are required to bring them tomorrow for service in court.
Below
are a few instructions for the purpose of clarification
v Every
Chambers appearing during the 4th Year Preliminaries (Second Round)
tomorrow is expected to present 4 Counsel who have not previously appeared in
the First Round of this stage. Any Counsel repeated shall be sent out of court
by the presiding judge. It is however possible for a Chambers to present less
than 4 Counsel, in which case the chambers may lose 2 to 4 marks for Teamwork.
