VC STORMS UNEC HOSTELS AND TALKS WITH STUDENTS

It was a memorable
day to day at the university of Nigeria Enugu
campus as the new vc stormed some of the
hostels in the school to view state of the place
He visited Mbonu Ojike and lady lbiam hostel and
after the tour through the hostels had an
interactive section with some of the students
Some of the issues raised were ........ a)WATER
--He said all the funds has been release to make
sure each hostel has accessible water and in some
weeks time it will be achieved b)RENOVATION OF
HOSTELS-After a tour thru the toilet end and
general state of the hostels , He said a lot has
to be done to improve the state of the hostels in
unec He also proposed two students per room,two
rooms per one toilet end and that a school
cafeteria will be built were students can get
affordable food thereby making cooking in the
hostels illegal Also plans are on the way for new
hostels to be built in no distance time On the
issue of the WALN(lionnet) he promised it will be
made accessible in the whole school after which
he asked a question if the students can pay more
after such renovation? Finally on the resumption
date,He said that school was suppose to reopen
on the 17th of Oct 2014,but due to some
renovations going on in some of the hostels it has
been shifted to the 23rd Oct 2014. WELL IF YOU
ASK ME I WILL SAY THE LORD HAS FINALLY
ANSWERED OUR PRAYERS.
